Writing for Public Relations

As a part of my Writing for Public Relations Course, I created an imaginary nonprofit.

 

During the course I created the following for my nonprofit:

  • Mission Statement & Boilerplate

  • Backgrounder

  • Infographic

  • Op-Ed

  • Media Advisory

  • "Messaging Across Platforms" which is a press release with corresponding social media posts

  • Media Pitch, which required me to research journalists who write stories similar to the one that I would like to be written for my nonprofit

  • Fundraising Email

  • Radio Public Service Announcement
